BIO AND CV

(Born 1971)
Having migrated from Scotland to Montreal as a child Andrew Dickson has devoted much of his life to translating his outsider experiences into art. His path led him to the realm of fine art at Concordia University, where he discovered a simultaneous passion for music. Dickson is thefounder of the Canadian rock band Tricky Woo, overseeing the release of five albums from 1996 to 2005. Beyond his accomplishments with Tricky Woo, he currently crafts electronic music, field recording and drone tapestries under
the alias EX.OX. As a sculptor / multi media/ video artist Dickson’s journey embodies a strong, original visual and auditory language, showcasing his inventive and enduring creative evolution.
